Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Erin Paluchowski received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2010, where she was a member of the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. While in dental school, Dr. Paluchowski also earned the Dean’s Award for Community Service. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency with the Veteran’s Affairs Health Care System in Palo Alto, California, before practicing in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

After Dr. Paluchowski’s husband, Dan, finished his medical residency, they returned to Maryland in 2013 and purchased Severna Park Smiles from Dr. Albert Sindall in 2017, which has been serving families in Severna Park and surrounding communities since 1987.

Dr. Paluchowski has always remained committed to continuing her education and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the dental field in order to provide her patients with the best comprehensive dental care. She has completed over 1,400 hours of continuing education courses and earned Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry. She’s currently in the process of earning Mastership status.

Dr. Paluchowski also regularly participates in dental-specific educational groups, including the Chesapeake Implant Study Club, Anne Arundel County Dental Society, Triple Crown Study Club, and the Seattle Study Club.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Erin Paluchowski resides in Arnold with her husband, Dan, her children, Anna and Oliver, and a lovable group of animals, including a golden retriever, Rosie, a playful tabby cat, a pond of koi fish, and some newly added chickens. She spends her free time reading, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors. It may be possible to catch her around town coaching her son’s soccer team, helping her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, singing with the women’s group, Cantori, or stand-up paddle boarding.
