COMPREHENSIVE FAMILY DENTISTRY

 Care for All Ages!

We believe quality care should be made available to everyone.

No matter if you are 8 or 80 years old we offer comprehensive dental care for the entire family.  Nothing would make us happier than to get to know and care for your entire family.
Dr. Erin Paluchowski recommends preventive routine evaluations every six months. During these visits, a hygienist will perform a thorough cleaning using today's advanced dental tools. Then Dr. Paluchowski will complete a comprehensive exam and discuss the results with you. Should additional care be needed we will discuss all your treatment options with you.

Preventive dentistry is our goal for every patient. This involves daily dental hygiene, proper nutrition, periodic cleanings and check-ups. It may not be where we start with every new patient, but that is what we want to attain and maintain, especially with all the evidence linking dental health to overall health!

COSMETIC DENTISTRY

Cosmetic dentistry can repair gaps, chips, discolored and misaligned teeth, to create a beautiful smile.
We offer a variety of options, including Veneers, Amalgam-free restorations, Teeth Whitening, and Clear Aligners.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin, translucent shells of tooth-like material permanently placed over rotated, discolored or weakened teeth.  Highly stain resistant, they offer similar light reflecting properties as natural teeth and can be a beautiful solution to esthetic concerns.  Resin veneers are sculpted directly onto teeth with tooth colored material requiring little to no removal of the tooth structure, commonly referred to as "bonding".

Composite Restorations

Composite restorations are dental fillings which are chemically bonded to teeth helping add strength and durability.  They are tooth-colored, designed to blend in with the natural tooth structure, and can mask the appearance of previous dental treatment.

Clear Aligner Orthodontics

We are pleased to offer Invisalign to straighten teeth. Unlike other options with wires and brackets, Invisalign uses clear, customized plastic trays that are virtually unnoticeable.  Patients simply need to wear each one as directed and attend regular check-ups with our team to achieve the results they desire.  In addition, the removable nature of Invisalign allows patients to easily brush and floss their teeth and places no food restrictions.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening is an easy way to transform your smile. We offer both in office bleaching sessions and home treatments with fabricated custom bleaching trays.  The trays ensure the whitening solution is administered evenly without causing damage to the gums or teeth and are to be worn daily for several weeks.

RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY

Dr. Paluchowski can help restore your smile with the use of Crowns, Bridges, Dental Implants, and Dentures.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns are designed to effectively “cap” or fully cover a tooth.  Crowns restore the appearance and strengthening a tooth's overall structure.  Crowns are an ideal solution for a variety of situations.  These include physical injury, significant tooth decay, general weakening, significant fractures, or even cosmetic changes.

Dental Implants

Dental Implants are one of the most reliable and cosmetic options to replace missing esthetics and function.  Single or multiple implants can be used to replace compromised teeth.  Dental implants may also be helpful securing loose dentures.  Dental implants involve the surgical placement of a small titanium post into the jawbone.  This post serves as a new foundation or "root".  Following healing, a dental restoration is connected to the implant replacing the missing tooth.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are a prosthetic option for patients who have lost one or more teeth in a row and are not candidates for dental implants. Bridges are a fixed option designed with dental crowns supporting and attaching neighboring healthy teeth to "bridge" and replace the missing teeth in your smile.

Dentures and Partials

Dentures and partials offer an affordable and convenient solution for patients who prefer it.  They consist of multiple teeth with a gum-colored base.  Full dentures are designed to replace an entire row of teeth and are held in place by either suction or dental implants.  Partials are designed to fits like a puzzle around existing healthy teeth and are secured with clips or brackets.  Both options are adaptable to future needs and removable for easy cleaning.

Occlusion & TMJ Issues

Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are a group of diseases and dysfunctions that cause facial pain. Occlusion is how our teeth come together and function in harmony to perform daily functions such as eating and talking.  TMD and Occlusion issues may result as pain in areas around the ear, neck and jaw joint, limitations or deviations on opening the mouth, and sounds while moving the jaw. Treatment options are dependent on symptoms.

Root Canal Therapy

A root canal is a common dental procedure performed when a tooth with an injured pulp is removed and the internal chamber and canals are thoroughly cleaned and sealed. It is a simple treatment that can save your natural teeth and can prevent tooth loss. Infection of the pulp can be caused by trauma to the tooth, deep decay, cracks and chips, or repeated dental procedures. Following treatment, it is commonly recommended a dental crown be placed to support remaining tooth structure and function.

Broken Teeth

Should you crack or chip a tooth, stay calm and notify us of your situation.  Apply a cold compress to the affected area to minimize swelling after rinsing your mouth with water.  If a permanent tooth is fully lost from the mouth, please call immediately.  When addressed in a timely manner, reattachment may be possible.  It is best to hold your tooth in the socket it came from if possible. Otherwise, store your tooth in milk until we can see you.

Tooth Extraction

Some teeth require removal because of severe decay. Others may have advanced periodontal disease, or have broken in a way that cannot be repaired.  Other teeth may require removal because of poor positioning in the mouth (such as impacted teeth).   It is not uncommon be sore for several days following an extraction but most are able to go about their normal routine without disruption following an extraction.  Should you experience any post operative complications, please contact our office immediately.
